The materials and food protection specialist confirms leadership transition as long-serving general manager prepares to step down after two decades with the company
Janssen PMP has announced the upcoming retirement of Joan Jørgensen, who has been with the company since 2005 and has served as general manager since 2012.
The group, a long-established world leader in the development and formulation of new and highly effective active substances and end-use products for the protection of materials and food including fresh produce, said her retirement will take effect on 31 March 2026.
Jørgensen has been widely recognised for her leadership and strategic contributions, which have been key to the growth and success of Janssen PMP, it said.
As part of this transition, Geoffroy de Chabot-Tramecourt has been appointed as the company’s new general manager, effective 1 October 2025.
He has been with Janssen PMP since 2008, starting as business unit leader for crop management and later serving as director of R&D and business development for both the crop management and microbial control business units.
“I want to congratulate Joan on her outstanding career and thank her for her contributions to Janssen PMP,” said de Chabot-Tramecourt.
“With this timely transition, we will ensure business continuity, with no impact on our operations.
I look forward to leading further strategic growth, always prioritising our customers’ best interests,” he added.
