Organic farming is at the centre of a new European programme co-financed by the EU and put into motion in France by fruit and vegetables organisation Interfel and French dairy association Cniel.

The two trade bodies share a common goal in making organic products “more accessible, visible and appealing” to both consumers and industry professionals, and their La Touche Bio campaign aims to do just that.

Efforts will centre on supporting industry professionals, highlighting the benefits of organic farming and encouraging the long-term integration of organic products into consumer habits.

The overall initiative equally aims to showcase local regions, support supply chains and help build a sustainable food system for future generations.
