German agribusiness appoints current MD as chair of its management board at Landgard Obst & Gemüse Holding
German agribusiness Landgard has onfirmed the appointment of Marc Beckmann as chair of its management board at Landgard Obst & Gemüse Holding.
Beckmann, who is the current managing director of Landgard Obst & Gemüse, took up the role on 1 April, according to a press release.
With the appointment, Landgard said it was “deliberately aligning” the structures of its fruit and vegetable division with those already established in its flowers and plants division at the start of 2025.
“Marc Beckmann has extensive knowledge of the company and the market, having been with the company for over three decades,” said a spokesperson. Since 2006, he has served as managing director of Godeland Vermarktungsgesellschaft, which became part of Landgard Nord Obst & Gemüse in 2018.
With a background in agricultural economics, he has worked on various projects at management level within other Landgard companies, including Landgard Erzeugerorganisation Obst & Gemüse, Landgard Obst & Gemüse Holding, Landgard Ost Obst & Gemüse, and Landgard Overseas.
