Acquisition is Lipman’s second western-US purchase in recent months
Lipman Family Farms has acquired Arizona-based fresh-cut fruit and veg business Farm Fresh.
Farm Fresh, based in Phoenix, is located a few miles down the road from Lipman’s repack operation in Glendale, and Lipman said the two facilities will complement its service in a market where coverage and capabilities are growing.
The move represents the second western Lipman acquisition in recent months, after Inland Premium Packers in Riverside, California. The company says it is growing its footprint nationally, with a focus on “surety of supply and solutions to its partners”.
The Farm Fresh facility prepares a variety of ready-to eat produce and provides bespoke solutions for customers looking for a lineup of convenient, food-safe, and freshly-cut produce.
