Group offers enhanced training programmes, capacity optimisation, and strategic resource positioning to ensure ‘seamless transportation’

As Kenya’s avocado exports approach their peak, shipping and logistics specialist Maersk has announced a series of initiatives which it says will support the business.
These include enhanced training programmes, capacity optimisation, and strategic positioning of resources.
With international demand for Kenyan avocados said to be growing, the group said its aim was to to ensure “seamless transportation” that maintained the kind of product integrity demanded by international buyers.
“The avocado season is a critical time for Kenyan exporters, and we are committed to providing not just transportation services, but comprehensive support that empowers our customers to meet the world’s growing demand for premium Kenyan avocados,” said Tito Okuku, managing director of Maersk East Africa.
“Our customer-centric approach means being present, prepared, and proactive, and ensuring that every shipment receives the attention it deserves.”
