La Asociación Mexicana de Horticultura Protegida (AMHPAC) and HarvestMark de México are ready to offset growers' compliance costs relating to food safety and traceability.

The pair say they can deliver joint education and marketing programmes to help AMHPAC members deploy traceability tools quickly and effectively throughout the supply chain, and in line with the Produce Traceability Initiative.

With support from Mexico's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA), 45 AMHPAC members will be enabled to meet PTI requirements using HarvestMark solutions.

J. Scott Carr, CEO of HarvestMark de México, said: “We have put in place local personnel, product development, and customer support to meet the needs of our Mexican customers, with tailored support for AMHPAC members. We are committed to serving the region and its needs, and are pleased to be working with AMHPAC and SAGARPA to achieve their goals.”
