Moyca, Spain’s biggest table grape grower-exporter, has launched its new table grape season with a projected yield of 70,000 tonnes for 2026. Harvesting of the earliest varieties is already underway, and picking will continue through December, following a staggered schedule that allows the company to meet demand in its key markets.

The Totana, Murcia-based company’s varietal portfolio comprises nearly 50 types of seedless table grapes, including white, red, black, and specialty varieties. This extensive range allows the company to stagger its production – spanning from the earliest to the latest-ripening varieties – and ensure a continuous supply through 365 days a year.

In recent years, the focus has been on the late season window for seedless white grapes and the early window for red and white seedless cultivars. The aim is to achieve a portfolio of high-quality, consistent grapes throughout the year.

CEO Antonio Domene commented: “The start of the season is one of the most important moments of the year for the company, as it represents the culmination of months of work in the fields. Beyond mere volume, our goal is to bring a high-quality seedless table grape to market – one that is carefully tended from the source and tailored to our customers’ requirements”.

The new season coincides with a period of significant momentum for Moyca, which is running its national ‘La buena uva’ marketing campaign to boost brand visibility and across various consumption occasions. Launched across multiple media channels, the initiative is expanding beyond the digital realm and is now visible on roads throughout Spain via branded company trucks.

At the same time, Moyca has made the season’s first grapes available for purchase in its online store. The platform offers direct access to various company products – ranging from classic varieties to more unique offerings – including grapes with distinctive flavour profiles, such as caramel and cotton candy varieties.
