The new service promises faster transit times with cargo delivered to Abu Dhabi in less than 33 days, specifically designed for refrigerated products moving to Persian Gulf destinations

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced that it is introducing a new direct service to the Middle East market, starting in October.

With a rotation starting in Buenos Aires, the service will see Abu Dhabi acting as a key transshipment hub.

”This new link is especially designed for reefer cargo moving to the main Persian Gulf destinations,” MSC stated.

”South American exporters and Middle Eastern importers will benefit from faster transit times to Abu Dhabi and other key ports in the region with cargo delivered to Abu Dhabi in less than 33 days, Shuwaikh in 38 days, and Hamad in 39 days.”

MSC said the first sailing will depart from Itajai with the vessel MSC Shreya B, voyage QJ539R.

The updated rotation will be Buenos Aires, Rio Grande, Itajai, Navegantes, Paranagua, Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Walvis Bay, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Qingdao, Busan, Ningbo, Shanghai,  Shekou, Singapore, Colombo, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Paranagua, Itapoa, Itajai, and Buenos Aires.
