Oppy has once again been recognised as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, marking 25 years of the distinction.

The group was also named one of British Columbia’s Top Employers earlier this year, and joining the 2025 Hall of Fame for Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, it said the recognition ”reinforce the company’s long-standing commitment to operational excellence and values-driven leadership in the global fresh produce industry”.

“Being named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 25 consecutive years, and maintaining Platinum Club status for 18 years is a tremendous honour,” said John Anderson, chairman, CEO and managing partner.

“This recognition is a testament to our team’s consistent execution, our culture of continuous improvement, and our commitment to doing the right thing for our customers, partners and communities.”

Oppy said it had continued to grow its global footprint while strengthening its ability to source, market and distribute fresh produce year-round, strategically integrating with Dole Diversified North America in late 2025.

The company remains focused on innovation across its operations, supporting sustainable growth and delivering results in a dynamic marketplace, it noted.

“Being named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies year after year requires constant improvement,” added president and chief operating officer David Smith.

”Strategic growth, including the Dole integration and beyond, creates the scale and strength that supports what we’re building next.”
