The US and Netherlands were the main markets, although shipments to both fell slightly between January and November
Peruvian banana exports totalled US$113.6mn between January and November 2025, a slight decrease on the US$125.0mn shipped in the year-earlier period according to consultancy Fresh Fruit Peru.

The average price was around $0.89/kg, very similar to that recorded in 2024, suggesting that the variation in export value was mainly due to a slight contraction in export volume compared to the previous year.
Regarding destinations, the Netherlands and the US remained the main markets in 2025 for both fresh and processed bananas (mainly in the form of snacks, flour and purees). The Netherlands led with shipments of approximately US$39.6mn, followed by the US with US$30.5mn.
However, both markets showed declines compared to 2024, during which shipments to the US exceeded US$35.6mn and the Netherlands took US$41.3mn-worth of bananas. Exports to other markets, such as Italy, Panama, and Belgium, remained relatively stable.
