FTrC 2025PR Fruitnet story

Bruno Gioffre of Dole, Gianpaolo Renino of Del Monte, Luca Battaglio of Battaglio, Greenyard’s Jen Gabriel, Kantar’s Tom Hole, Cindy van Rijswick of Rabobank, Thieirry Athimon of Frutas Montosa, ICA Sweden’s Maria Wieloch and Westfalia’s Wim Destoop are just some of the speakers who will be sharing their expertise at this year’s Fruitnet Tropicals Congress, the conference and networking event organised by Fruitnet Media International that takes place 24-25 June in Antwerp.

Tropicals are outperforming many other fruit categories in Europe. New ripening and postharvest technologies are delivering better quality and greater consistency in key products like avocados and mangoes, while the fresh-cut segment is tapping into growing demand for healthy snacking options, particularly amongst young consumers.

We catch up with some of the most exciting new developments driving improvements in the tropical fruit supply chain with Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Shypple and Experience Fruit Quality. We also take a look at opportunities for European suppliers to meet demand in the local market with Anecoop and Sawari.

And on the 25 June, join Fruitnet on a visit by boat to the Port of Antwerp, the largest tidal dock in the world and the main gateway for fresh produce arriving in Antwerp.

Featuring a lively mixture of presentations, panel discussions and interviews in a shared conference and expo area, Fruitnet Tropicals Congress will discuss how to make the most of untapped demand to expand the tropicals category.

Fruitnet Tropicals Congress allows you to connect with customers, buyers, suppliers and service providers and tap into a wealth of established expertise and new talent.

Delegates have until 22 May to take advantage of the Early Bird rate of €325 (vs the Standard Rate of €400), or just €290 each for group bookings of three or more.
