Researchers, professionals, supplier companies, exporters, cooperation agencies, and institutional representatives from more than 40 countries will meet at this technical and scientific forum, which in 2026 commemorates the 60th anniversary of Acorbat, one of the most important platforms for cooperation in musaceae research and development globally.

In this edition, participants will be able to submit presentations on topics such as artificial intelligence and robotics in production, blockchain in the supply chain, biotechnology and omics, genetic resources and breeding, soil management and chemical and organic nutrition, physiology and biochemistry, climate change and agrometeorology, plant health, irrigation and drainage, food safety, socioeconomics, technology validation and transfer, post-harvest technologies, and markets and marketing. Proposals will be accepted until 30 June, 2025, and full information can be found on the website: https://congresoscorbana.com/expositores/

“We want this edition of Acorbat to be a showcase of knowledge applied to the current challenges of the banana sector. We invite the entire scientific, technical, and productive community to present their research and share solutions that contribute to the future of bananas,” said Dr Rafael Segura, vice president of Acorbat and research director at Corbana.

In addition to a high-level academic programme, the event will feature a commercial exhibition area, ideal for companies that provide inputs, services, technology, and logistics related to banana cultivation and export.
