Major Australasian produce company the Freshmax Group has appointed Ross Kane as its new CEO of global commercial operations.
Kane will begin the role in February next year, the New Zealand-headquartered company said today in a statement.
Ross brings with him experience at a number of major food companies in the region, namely Cedenco Foods, Brierly Investments, LeaderBrand Produce and Snap Fresh Foods.
“Growth areas of the Freshmax Group strategy include: farming/investment alongside category-leading growers, special projects and intellectual property commercialisation, which will be key components of Ross’ role,” said Freshmax CEO Tony Mahoney.
“He’ll also assist in lifting services throughout our Australasian business and driving further integration of our North America platform.”
