Dutch greenhouse horticulture specialist Royal Brinkman and Pacific Coast Greenhouse Technologies (PCGT) have launched a North American strategic partnership covering horticultural tech projects.

The partnership, which was officially confirmed during GreenTech Amsterdam, is designed to strengthen both groups’ local presence, technical capabilities and service capacity for growers in both ornamental and vegetable cultivation.

PCGT is a Canadian greenhouse technology installer and integrator specialising in water technology, electrical systems and technical infrastructure for commercial greenhouse operations.

According to a statement, the partnership will focus on smart, integrated and tailor-made solutions in the areas of water technology, electrical engineering, climate, internal transport, hygiene and mechanisation.

“The North American greenhouse horticulture sector is developing at a rapid pace,” said Stefan Bron, sales manager technology at Royal Brinkman.

”In PCGT, we have found a strong local partner that shares the same vision on quality, service and long-term relationships.

“By joining forces, we strengthen our market position and can support growers locally with integrated technical solutions,” he noted.

Micah Butler, director at PCGT, said that he sees great opportunities in the partnership.

“Royal Brinkman brings extensive global knowledge and experience in technical projects within greenhouse horticulture,” Butler commented.

”Combined with our local market knowledge and presence in North America, this creates a strong foundation for supporting growers with integrated solutions in horticultural technology.”
