A statement from Saudi Arabian fresh produce importer Mohammed A Sharbatly Ltd has revealed the passing of long-serving William 'Bill' Walker, who has died after a year-long illness.
Walker most recently held the role of shipping and commercial manager at the Jeddah-based group.
'It is with much sadness that we inform you that Mr William 'Bill' Walker has passed away, after one year of sickness,' the statement read.
'We shall miss him very much. He spent a very long time with our company, and we believe most of you have known him well, and will miss him too.'
