Sinclair Systems has announced the opening of a new production site in Georgia, US, as it looks to meet continued growing demand for food-safe produce labels in North America.
The new 929m2 facility is equipped with the latest 6-colour press technology, on-line verification for barcodes and Sinclair proprietary equipment, all dedicated to meeting packer and shipper needs along the eastern seaboard from Canada to Florida.
'Sinclair is very fortunate to have built a team of experienced, highly talented press operators, supervisors and other production personnel at this new plant,' said Sinclair president and CEO Bill Hallier at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. 'It's important that we can continue to meet – and exceed – our customers' expectations for providing the highest quality food-safe produce labels available.'
With the opening of the Peachtree City facility, located just outside of Atlanta, Sinclair took its total number of label production sites to 11.
