Gotrack is helping growers navigate the demands of modern production, with the digital transformation of agriculture no longer optional

Technological advancements are no less important to the apple and pear business than those improvements being made in varietal development or the opening of new markets for exporters. And it is in the field of agritech that Polish group Gotrack specialises.
While the company is primarily known for its autonomous driving systems, it also focuses heavily on spraying systems for apple and pear orchards.
“Some apple varieties tend to be biannual, which occur irregularly throughout the orchard,” says Marcin Lis, co-owner and R&D director at Gotrack. “Therefore, our customers choose to scan their plantations using specialised cameras. These scans are then used to generate digital variable-rate application maps. Our sprayer computers utilise these maps for precise, variable-rate application of the working solution during fruitlet thinning treatments, ultimately allowing the plantation owner to achieve an even distribution of fruit across the orchard.
“Our high-tech sprayer computers deliver centimetre-level application precision, meaning that practically every single tree in the orchard can receive a different dose of the working solution,” he explains. “Finally, a report from the spraying process is automatically sent to the server, enabling verification of the treatment’s accuracy.”
This year has seen challenges, Lis outlines, mainly related to the company’s reorganisation, driven by a “significant” increase in orders both in the Polish market and overseas through its distributors.
“We have become a recognisable brand, associated primarily with systems that convert standard orchard tractors into autonomous vehicles,” he confirms. “Since we manufacture all mechanical and electronic elements in-house, new machinery was added to our production facility in 2026, which allowed us to accelerate production processes and improve the quality of our components. We expect to maintain similar sales momentum in the coming years, as fruit growers realise that under current market conditions, they must adopt cutting-edge technologies to remain competitive.”
The company’s product line includes among others Gotrack Autodrive, autonomous driving systems for tractors in row crops; Gotrack eSpray GPS, precision sprayer computers that utilise variable-rate application maps generated from plantation scans, complete with software for full treatment logging; and Gotrack Smartnav, driving assistance systems for row crops and precision planting systems.
In addition, it offers software such as Gotrack Farm Manager, and the Gotrack app, designed for logging all agrotechnical treatments performed by our computers.
