Tosca, a leading supplier of reusable plastic packaging and performance pooling solutions, has been awarded a Gold rating from EcoVadis for 2026. The certification is an internationally recognised assessment that evaluates a company’s environmental, social, and ethical performance.

The award ranks Tosca among the top 5 per cent of companies assessed globally. It received improved scores across all categories compared with 2025.

As the single-use packaging model comes under increasing pressure, Tosca noted that businesses are moving towards reusable operating models that combine sustainability with efficiency, resilience and long-term value.

“The rating highlights how Tosca’s global reusable packaging and pooling solutions are translating sustainability commitments into measurable operational performance,” the company said.

Laurent Le Mercier, Tosca’s EMEA president, commented: “Across Europe, we are seeing sustainability move from ambition to operational reality. Customers increasingly want clear evidence of performance, whether that is efficiency, compliance, waste reduction or supply chain resilience.

“Achieving Gold with EcoVadis is an important recognition of the progress our teams continue to make across the business. At Tosca, we believe sustainability only creates value when it works in practice. Our reusable plastic packaging and pooling solutions help customers reduce waste, improve operational efficiency and build more resilient, circular supply chains for the future”.

Independent evaluations such as EcoVadis are widely used by procurement teams and supply chain partners to assess sustainability performance, supplier credibility and long-term resilience.

”Achieving a high rating is no longer simply recognition. It demonstrates the ability to deliver sustainability in a consistent, measurable and verifiable way, and is playing a growing role in supplier selection and long-term partnership decisions,” Tosca said.
