Spanish supplier Trops has launched a new campaign designed to boost sales of its mangoes as the new domestic season gets underway.

The Malaga-based company will unveil a brand new look this weekend, and plans to advertise its products as ‘El Mango Más Mango’ (‘The Most Mango-like Mango’) with brand new commercial advertising across a number of different marketing channels.

“With this campaign, we want to announce the arrival of one of the most anticipated times of the year and bring our mangoes closer to consumers throughout Spain through a multi-channel communication strategy that will combine television, digital platforms, outdoor advertising, radio, print media, and special events,” said the cooperative.

“This year we’re taking our communication a step further with a completely revamped look, but the Trops mango remains the star of the 2026 campaign: a direct and recognisable message announcing that ‘Trops mangoes are here’, and not only are they in season, but they’re also already available in fruit shops and markets throughout Spain to enjoy at their best flavour and texture.”

Spain’s Interprofessional Avocado and Mango Association said in late July it anticipated a “slightly larger” mango crop in 2026 compared with last year’s, when national production was around 55,000 tonnes.

The group’s general director Antonio Carpintero also told SER Malaga that avocado production was looking good and could reach 100,000 tonnes. “Fortunately, after a rainy winter, we face the new harvest with optimism,” he commented.
