Vanguard Group International has announced two key organisational changes as part of its global growth strategy.

Ethan Williams is assuming the role of president of Vanguard International and Vanguard Direct, after successfully leading as vice-president of sales and marketing for Vanguard International over the past two years.

In addition, Ignacio Ugarte will be appointed commercial director, Peru, where he will oversee the flow of proprietary production into international markets, working closely with the global sales teams to optimise long-term results.

“These changes reflect our commitment to continually strengthening our organisational structure, capitalising on the value of our own production, and reinforcing our leadership in the world’s most important markets,” said Dirk Winkelmann, chief commercial officer at Vanguard.

The group said that, with a long-term vision, it was reaffirming its commitment to delivering high-quality fresh products from field to table, driving agricultural innovation, and building strong, lasting relationships with customers and strategic partners.

”The company continues to position itself as a trusted partner in delivering high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables to leading global markets,” Vanguard added.
