Laudani and Calcagni, both former presidents of European industry association Freshfel, were visiting a plantation close to Scordia to the south of Catania in Sicily, one of the world’s most renowned centres of citrus production and one that supplies customers with premium-quality fresh fruit and juices all over the world.
