Turkish seed company Yuksel Seeds is targeting the Polish fresh produce market with its award-nominated SWICY F1 pepper
Yuksel Seeds has announced that its new SWICY F1 pepper has been nominated for the Fresh Market Readers’ Choice Award 2026.
The pepper, which is described as sweet and spicy, will also take part in the Fresh Market Award 2026 at the Warsaw-based event.
”The two award activities will give SWICY F1 additional visibility among fresh produce professionals and provide an opportunity to present the new pepper to the Polish market,” Yuksel outlined.
The group’s pepper portfolio will be showcased in Poland, including blocky and Kapia-type peppers in different colours.
Among the varieties on display will be Duchessa F1, a new yellow and orange Kapia pepper, and Baronessa F1.
The tomato segment will also be on display at the company’s stand, with a wide range of tomatoes including heirloom varieties such as Sweetloom, Tobrossa and Casarossa.
The selection will also include pink tomatoes such as Pink Rock and Pink Ince, red tomatoes including Tobias and Ozkan, plum tomatoes such as Tobrange, as well as new cocktail and cherry varieties, Yuksel confirmed.
The group said that its stand will also feature new cucumber projects developed together with Vegebond.
These individually packed cucumbers are part of a project focused on developing products adapted to the requirements of modern retail and the fresh produce market.
