Foods from Spain has announced details of this year’s Spanish Fine Food Trade Fair, to be held at London's Royal Horticultural Halls on April 28-29.
More than 65 Spanish producers and manufacturers will be showing an array of food and drink, including fresh produce. Building on the success of the last fair and the UK market’s ever greater interest in fine Spanish foods, there will be added appeal with new lines, such
as speciality jams and preserves and seaweed. There will also be more organic products than at the last fair, reflecting Spanish producers’ response to UK market demand.
In the UK, the success of Spanish food and food products is reflected in the growing number of top-end Spanish restaurants that are achieving critical acclaim such as Fino, Cambio de Tercio and Moro.
“It is not just flair and imagination that make the Spaniards outstanding,” said Foods from Spain. “It's also the quality and profusion of the ingredients available to them; and now they're available here in the UK too. It is the aim of this trade fair to show off the panoply of high quality ingredients that has made Spanish cooking the success it is in the UK today.”
