After more than 35 years in food marketing communications, former Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market business development manager Tad Thompson has formed a new consultancy group, Globalview Consultancy LLC.
The veteran produce industry journalist's new business will be located in North wales, Philadelphia, while his former role at Philly market will be taken by general manager Dan Kane.
'My time promoting the Philadelphia market was truly a pleasure,' Thompson said in a press statement. 'It is without doubt the world's premier distribution facility of fresh fruits and vegetables, so to represent such a magnificent, food-safe facility was truly an honour.
'As I leave, I'm very pleased to allying with the market within my new venture,' he added.
