Belgian auction REO Veiling, localed in Rooselare, has announced the launch of mushrooms under its Tomabel quality label, which was previously used just for the auction's strawberries, tomatoes and baby leaf lettuce.
According to the auction, the label is a guarantee that the product has been cultivated under the best growing conditions, particularly with regard to the environment.
'This initiative has taken Flemish mushroom cultivation and the Tomabel seal of approval to a higher level,' the auction said.
