Austrian marketer EVA Apples will present a new premium brand, EVA prime, at this year's Fruit Logistica trade fair in Berlin on 8-10 February.
The new brand, which has been designed to market the very best of Austria's apple production, represents a major step forward in terms of developing the country's reputation as an international supplier of high-quality, sustainable fruit, according to EVA Apples managing director Heinrich Juritsch.
'Every single EVA prime-branded apple is a symbol for what we call Austrian first-class apples,' he said.
'The country of its origin, at the heart of Europe, guarantees the highest quality and the highest standards of ecological production.'
EVA prime apples would be selected from the best, most beautiful and most sought-after traditional fruit on the market, Juritsch added.
'They are pure luxury. Every EVA prime apple is of selected origin, chosen by hand, produced under extremely careful circumstances. It is then stored and packed carefully before being brought to customers in exclusive boxes.'
