The UK fresh produce industry is today mourning the death of Alan McCutchion, a former director at JP Fresh and president of the Fresh Produce Consortium.
Mr McCutchion passed away on Monday 8 December at the age of 62 after a battle against cancer.
An industry veteran, he held the role of director at JP between 1979 and 2001 before eventually retiring in 2002, before taking up the position of president at the Fresh Produce Consortium from 2004 to 2005.
He leaves his wide Christine and three daughters.
