In less than 30 years Colombia has become the second largest flower exporter in the world, recognised for the quality of its flowers and improvements in conditions for its workers.

The Land Of Flowers day will be held at the Melia White House on November 12. Key Colombian growers will be available to discuss social and environmental advances in their country. A buffet lunch will also be on offer.

There will also be a presentation by the Colombian Association of Flower Exporters Asocolflores on their Florverde programme.
