The FCoH has identified three key dates for the whole industry to create widespread awareness across the UK.

The FCoH's Jo Read said: 'The three main relay organisations, the Society of Floristry, the British Retail Florists Association, and the F&PA all recognise and are willing to support the campaign to the best of their abilities. It is the first time that I can recall the entire industry committed to actively supporting a single campaign. Now we have to make it work.' Chrysal is solidly backing the campaign, and the key dates are May 2, September 19 and November 14. FCoH is already drawing up promotional plans for May. Read added: 'At the moment everything is being considered – PR, promotions, direct marketing, point of sale and even stunt ideas. I am confident that at the very least every florist who has registered will have point-of-sale material to use, and will receive a substantial free quantity of our very bright pink Friday is Flower Day Chrysal flower food sachets to give to customers.'
