Lincolnshire-based Emmett UK launched its Mary Berry Caesar salad kit at Waitrose last week. The pack features two whole Romaine hearts, croutons, cheese and the celebrity chef's dressing.
"Quality, value and freshness are often over-used phrases on relation to new products," said the Emmett's commercial director Matt Warren. "But with the Mary Berry Caesar Salad kit we feel that we have hit all three-Our kit ensures that quality flavour and freshness are not over-ridden by convenience."
Emmett has already reported sales ahead of its own forecast at Waitrose and has a number of similar product lines up its sleeve ready for launch.
