The Greek minister of agriculture will open an e-commerce workshop for the production and marketing of fresh produce.

The event is organised by FReLECTRA and presentations will be given on the use of systems in electric trade management, auctions, communication, traceability and packaging.

Other speakers will include traders, producers and agricultural business advisors.

FReLECTRA is an organisation set up under the EU Leonardo projecdt and aims to encourage the use of electronic technology for fresh produce across Europe.

The workshop takes place September 26 - 27 2003,
