While Spanish stone-fruit producers have found themselves hit by unexpected frosts, Greek growers are expecting an increase on the peach front.
However, reports suggest apricot production will be unchanged from the previous year.
Peach output is forecast to reach 800,000 tonnes, up from 740,000t last year.
