The 360 Quality Association has garnered further support with the addition of 15 leading refrigerated-terminal operators to its ranks, following a recent meeting at the Seabrex Terminal in Rotterdam.
The 360 Quality initiative now extends to more than 300 specialised reefer vessels and refrigerated terminals in Europe, North and South America and Africa. The association aims to uphold the 360 Quality Code, a set of guidelines to raise the quality of cargo handling, which it hopes will become the industry standard for reefer shipping.
Mukul Ghildiyal, chairman of the association, said: “We are delighted that our terminal partners share our vision of putting quality at the heart of everything we do. Our customers can be sure that shipping in 360 Quality-certified specialised reefers will deliver a consistently high-quality service.”
