The new facility, formerly owned by Agrupaejido, joins the recent acquisition of Primores, previously part of the La Unión group. Agroponiente said the improved technical and logistical capabilities will enable it to handle growing demand.

“Our network of centres is not only growing in number, but also in capacity to be ever closer to the farmer, offering them an agile, modern service adapted to their real needs,” said the group’s CEO, Imanol Almudí.

The company held an inauguration ceremony at which local farmers were able to tour the new facilities and learn firsthand about the project’s objectives from Agroponiente’s management team.

The day also provided an opportunity for direct dialogue between farmers and group representatives in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.

“This new collection centre reflects the sustained growth of the Agroponiente Group and reinforces our capacity to offer a robust and flexible logistics model, aligned with its B Corp status, focused on positive impact on the environment, the agricultural community, and the sustainability of its operations,” the company said.
