Strawberries

Israel has opened crossings at Karem Abu Salem and Al-Montar to allow limited quantities of fuel and aid into the Gaza Strip, according to a report by The Palestine Telegraph.

The publication reported today (22 December) that, in addition to items crossing into the Gaza Strip such as cooking gas, fuel, wheat, feed and gravel, four trucks loaded with flowers and strawberries will leave for export markets.

The strawberries will be sent overseas as part of a Dutch export programme, designed to support farmers located on the Gaza Strip.
