Obeikan MDF has teamed up with Dutch Harvest House cooperative in its food waste initiative, Food Fellows.

The Spanish packaging specialist has designed specialised display units for the Food Fellows project, which converts rejected or surplus vegetables into high quality food products.

The units, made from recyclable material, have a 30kg capacity and feature colourful, eye-catching graphics to raise visibility and appeal to consumers. They have already been installed at points of sale in several German cities.

The Food Fellows range is made up of several tomato-based products including soups, pasta sauces and ketchup.

“Our flexibility and speed in developing new products makes our displays the best option for any company seeking innovative, sustainable solutions,” said Obeikan’s managing director, Salvador Martínez.
