Polish horticultural trade show set new records with international participation from destinations including Congo, Senegal and New Zealand

The latest edition of the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair (TSW) took place on 23–24 January 2026 in Kielce, drawing some 21,000 visitors from Poland and overseas.
According to event organiser Oikos, A total of 508 companies presented their offers, including nearly 100 international exhibitors, on a show floor of almost 4ha – the largest in the history of the event.
Among the exhibitors were companies from destinations such as Congo, Senegal and New Zealand.
The exhibition stands were dominated by technologies addressing key production challenges including automation and robotics, cost-reducing solutions, precision fertilisation and crop protection systems, as well as digital tools supporting farm management.
New machines, prototypes, AI-based technologies, and solutions for storage and post-harvest preparation were presented, Oikos noted.
Industry conferences covered orchard production, vegetable production, berry crops (currants and raspberries), strawberries, viticulture, and protected cultivation.
Experts discussed current strategies for crop protection, fertilisation, storage and logistics, as well as farm management under cost pressure and climate change.
The organiser pointed out that an important part of the programme was the resolution of the Professor Szczepan A Pieniążek Innovation Award, recognising innovations in horticulture.
Awards were handed to Andermatt Polska, Niva-Top, and Max Crop, while a distinction was awarded to the new Sander apple variety.

In the Fruit Grower of the Year competition, the main title was awarded to Tomasz Piasecki from Palczew (Mazovia), while distinctions were granted to producers from the Grójec region and the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.
”The latest edition of TSW confirmed that the event remains a key platform for technology presentation, exchange of production experience, and direct business talks for the fruit and vegetable sector,” Oikos outlined.
The 27th edition of TSW will take place in January 2027.
