Foodservice specialist has won Motor Transport Livery of the Year for its new fresh produce graphics and slogans across its 150-strong fleet, designed to showcase range and distribution offer 

Foodservice supplier Fresh Direct has won the Motor Transport Livery of the Year Award for new van liveries with veg-based slogans designed to showcase breadth of range, national distribution and reliable delivery.

All 150 vehicles in the fleet have been rebranded with the new designs, with taglines including ‘Here, pear and everywhere’ (highlighting national distribution), ‘Ripe on time’ (promoting a reliable delivery service), and ‘Brie-lliantly fresh produce’ (showing range).

“Our new design took our core fruit and veg offer and put that into a graphical format,” said Fresh Direct marketing director, James Armitage.

“This allowed us to put a bit of personality into our designs. With no more than five vehicles carrying the same design, there’s always something new for customers to comment on.”
