Worldwide Fruit is leading promotion of the up-and-coming apple brand
A bold marketing campaign has been promised to promote Kissabel apples in the UK this season.
The season for Kissabels has officially begun in the northern hemisphere, with the British harvest well underway and the red-fleshed apples set to hit supermarket shelves next week.
Supplier Worldwide Fruit has promised to deliver a marketing campaign that will boost awareness of the up-and-coming brand, with the push set to combine the power of digital out-of-home advertising and social media.
The aim is to highlight the uniqueness and unexpected colours inside the fruit and disrupt the market with an exciting new offer, according to Worldwide Fruit.
“Kissabel is a disruptive product that is attracting new consumers,” said Hannah McIlfatrick, commercial director of Worldwide Fruit. “We want to increase penetration and offer this apple to an ever-wider audience for a longer period of time. The goal is to grow the entire category, and we are very excited about the upcoming campaign.
“We expect excellent quantities across all three varieties – Orange, Rouge and Jaune. Furthermore, the appearance of the apples at this stage is truly excellent. The campaign starts in September and will continue until February.”
Worldwide Fruit also cited consumer reactions to the campaign and the fruit itself. “The advert promotes a bold and unconventional approach to food,” said one consumer, while another commented: “Just when you thought you’d seen it all, there’s something new!”
A third said: “It’s the perfect combination of crisp and sweet and the colour is incredible.”
