Smurfit Kappa says its lattice box preserves freshness

The vibrant yellow paper-based packaging, which features diamond-shaped holes in the box to prevent fungal growth, not only ensures produce reaches customers in perfect condition, but also differentiates the tomato brand from its competitors, Smurfit Kappa said.

Commenting on the new design, Isle of Wight Tomatoes general manager Rob Waterhouse said: “We’re really delighted with the result. Smurfit Kappa Gosport perfectly interpreted our brief, delivering sleek, meticulously designed packaging that not only keeps our precious tomatoes safe and sound, but stands out on the shelf.”
