In Westandalusien und Cartagena (Murcia), den beiden Hauptanbaugebieten für Frühkartoffeln in Spanien, ist der Pflanzprozess nach Angaben von Asociafruit nun abgeschlossen. Die Fläche beträgt 10.500 ha und ist damit ähnlich groß wie im vergangenen Jahr.
