Fruitnet and IFPA to curate insight-filled content programme at premier international event for Latin America’s fresh produce business
Asia Fruit Logistica Peru Meet Up, the brand-new international event connecting Latin America’s fresh produce export trade with key buyers from Asia and around the world, launches in Lima on 28-29 October 2025.
Hosted at the prestigious Swissotel Lima, the Peru Meet Up brings together leading growers, exporters, buyers and decision-makers for two days of high-impact networking, business development, and market insights.
Organised by Asia Fruit Logistica in partnership with Fruit Logistica and Fruitnet, the event is backed by a host of top organisations across Latin America. Regional partners include PromPeru, Abrafrutas, Corpei, ProEcuador, ProColombia and the Banana Cluster from Ecuador.
With a strong emphasis on market opportunities in Asia, the Peru Meeet Up is also supported by China’s leading wholesale markets, Guangzhou Jiangnan and Shanghai Huizhan.
Fruitnet and the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) have joined forces to curate a cutting-edge content programme. The two-day agenda features expert-led sessions on critical industry trends, innovations and opportunities across Latin America and Asia.
“We are excited to partner with IFPA to deliver a truly global content programme,” said Chris White, managing director of Fruitnet. “We’ll explore all the key developments shaping Latin America’s fresh produce export landscape – from landmark logistics projects like the Port of Chancay, to the opening of new markets in Asia, to game-changing genetics and supply chain tech.”
“IFPA welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with Asia Fruit Logistica and Fruitnet to convene and connect with industry members on topics of importance to them, particularly as it relates to the exciting developments in Peru and across South America,” commented Doug Bohr, the International Fresh Produce Association’s chief strategy and programme officer.
“Now, perhaps more than ever, the opportunity to listen to and learn from our members about the opportunities and challenges related to international trade, sustainability, and supply chain logistics is essential to creating a vibrant future for all across our global industry.”
