ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, the only trade exhibition for the international fruit and vegetable business in Asia, is gearing up to welcome industry exhibitors and visitors to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 2-4 September.

'Strong interest on both the exhibitor and visitor side has come from every part of the fresh produce business and from all over the world,' said Gérald Lamusse, managing director of fair organiser Global Produce Events. 'More than 200 exhibitors have signed up so far, and we're expecting as many as 3,500 trade visitors to come to Hong Kong for this year's show.'

The three-day trade exhibition runs alongside the Asiafruit Congress, Asia's leading fresh produce business conference that has been organised every year in Asia since the mid-1990's.

'Your attendance at ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA and the Asiafruit Congress really is the best investment you can make for your company in Asia this year, explained Mr Lamusse. 'Together, they offer you a fantastic opportunity to make new business contacts in Asia, learn about the new developments in the market and network with industry leaders.'

Exhibitors at this year's ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA will come from over 30 different countries worldwide, including the leading markets in Asia such as China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Leading supplying countries present at the event will include the US, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, Argentina, Peru and, for the first time, Brazil and Chile.
