The French network of fresh fruit and vegetable wholesaler-distributors, Hexagro, has announced that all 50 of its sites in France and Luxembourg have been certified organic.
The announcement was made during a press conference held at the headquarters of French fresh produce interprofessional organisation Interfel in Paris.
The goal of achieving organic certification was set back in January and has been implemented individually by each member. “Organic certification is an important element in the move toward sustainable development,” Hexagro’s president Bernard Estivin commented.
