MorePeople, the specialist produce and horticultural recruitment practice, has announced that Janet Khan will be joining to manage its training and HR services division - MorePerformance.
Since its launch in the summer of 2003 MorePerformance has been providing bespoke training and development courses tailored specifically to meet the needs of professional managers within the produce and horticultural industry. MorePeople director Guy Moreton said: "Over the last 12 months, as both our existing and new clients have become aware of our MorePerformance business, the degree of interest expressed in the services that it offers has highlighted to us the high level of demand that exists within our sector for specialist training. This is not to say that the services that are required are totally unique but what our clients, and others, are looking for is training and development that is tailored to take into account the particular challenges that are faced by them and their managers in supplying perishable products into the UK's highly demanding horticultural supply chain - and into the multiple sector in particular.
"Janet is an HR professional who has spent the last 13 years in senior management positions within the produce and horticultural supply chain and her appointment as the manager of MorePerformance reinforces our commitment to develop MorePeople as an all round 'people solutions' business, centred on recruitment but with the ability to tailor our range of services to meet the specific needs of our clients - and not vice versa."
