Biobest has has announced that it has acquired key technology and personnel from its external technology partner Ecoation Innovative Solutions.

According to the group, which is a division of BioFirst specialising in biocontrol and natural pollination for horticulture, the acquired technology, products and expert staff become part of Biobest’s global High-Tech Development and Customer Success Center.

This will, it said, reinforce its strategic leadership in IPM automation tools.

The Biobest technology acquisition agreement includes the Crop-Scanner monitoring and scouting tool as well as the OKO 2 IPM and yield prediction solution and associated intellectual properties.

Next to this, the expert staff experienced in developing and maintaining these products will also be taken over as part of the arrangement, it noted.
