Greenfood’s plan to sell off fresh produce wholesale division receives regulatory approval in Sweden
Greenfood has been given the go-ahead to sell its fruit ad vegetable wholesale business to Dole, with the transaction expected to be completed in early July.
In a statement, the group confirmed that the Swedish Competition Authority had cleared the previously announced divestment to Dole Nordic.
As reported in mid-December 2025, Dole Nordic will buy the majority of Nordic group Greenfood’s Fresh Produce division.
The sale is understood to include Sweden-based Greenfood Fresh Produce International, Ewerman, Greenfood Fresh Food, SP Greenfood Sourcing, and a number of other smaller concerns, plus the importer Satotukku in Finland.
Greenfood Iberica in Spain will remain part of Greenfood, however.
