Agreement increases Green Fruits’ output to almost 130,000 tonnes, mostly made up of citrus
Castellón-based citrus cooperative Soex 2 has signed an extendable one-year collaboration agreement with Green Fruits, a second-tier citrus cooperative made up of Coopcisa, Coopego, Novacitrus, Copal and Alzicoop. Both entities form part of the Anecoop Group.
Under the deal, Green Fruits will market 100 per cent of Soex 2’s 8,000-tonne production (mainly clementines). This will take Green Fruits’ sales volume to almost 130,000 tonnes of mainly citrus, along with persimmon and avocados.
The two companies will benefit from synergies between their respective facilities with the aim of carrying out more efficient management and reducing costs.
