Koppert has announced that it is strengthening its executive board with the addition of a chief customer officer (CCO), a chief operations officer (COO) and a chief product officer (CPO).

The move, it said, fosters stronger collaboration across commercial, operations and product development, enabling the company to respond more quickly to market developments and the evolving needs of its customers.

Boaz Oosthoek has been appointed as CCO, with Frans van de Noort joining as COO and Martin Koppert continuing in a renewed role as CPO.

”Together, these changes enhance the connection between customer focus, operational excellence and innovation across the executive board,” Koppert stated.

Oosthoek has been with Koppert for more than nine years and has held several international commercial leadership positions, including general manager of Koppert Spain and commercial director for Northwest Europe, Southern Europe, Central and East Asia, and Africa.

In his role as CCO, Koppert explained he will lead the global commercial organisation and further strengthen the company’s customer-focused approach.

Van de Noort has been appointed interim COO having most recently served as COO and member of the executive board at Eneco.

He will be responsible for Koppert’s global operations, including production, supply chain, logistics and packaging.

As CPO, meanwhile, Martin Koppert will be responsible for the further development of Koppert’s global product portfolio, innovation, marketing and strategic partnerships.

“The challenges facing international agriculture and horticulture are becoming increasingly complex,” said CEO Hans Peters.

”To help growers and farmers succeed, we need an organisation that is agile, customer-centric, operationally strong, and continuously accelerating innovation.

”By expanding our executive board, we are embedding these strengths even more firmly in the way we lead the company,” he added.

”This will increase our ability to act decisively and create an even stronger foundation to support growers worldwide in producing healthy, resilient crops in a more sustainable way.”
