Hamburg Süd has announced that Danish group Safe Shipping will be taking on agency operations in Poland for the German Shipping group and Alianca on 1 July 2009.
The agency takes on the operations previously handled by Morska Agencja Gdynia, having acted for Hamburg Süd in other European markets such as Hungary, the Czech republic and Austria for several years.
With the involvement of Safe Shipping in Poland, the shipping group guarantees its customers short channels of communication, expert decision-making capability and fast on-the-spot processing,' the group said in a statement. 'Close integration with operational Hamburg Süd systems permits Safe Shipping to respond quickly to local customer requirements in Poland.'
Customers can pick up details of sailing dates for which responsibility is passing to Safe Shipping in Poland from regional points of contact.
